Enjoy participating in one of our many scuba training specialty courses available with Lady Of The Sea. Each course is specially designed and run to provide you with maximum learning and enjoyment in the area of specialty diving that you wish to pursue. All courses marked with a star may be enjoyed by divers with the PADI Open Water certification or an equivalent entry level certification from another agency, or a higher certification.
This program is designed to help you to explore different interests whilst broadening your diving horizons and is highly recommended for enjoyment following your beginner PADI Open Water Scuba Diver course. This course will assist you to gain further diving experience, utilise specialised equipment and enjoy new styles of diving and environments under the guidance of a your favourite PADI Instructors. The Adventure Diver program will normally cover day 1 of the Advanced Open Water Diver Course, where you will enjoy three adventure dives - navigation, peak performance buoyancy and night diving (other adventure dive options can be discussed with your instructor. Note: addition of boat dives will incur extra costs).
This is where you put the skills you learnt on your open water course into real life practice - this is hands on learning and is great fun! You will go wreck diving, deep diving, night diving, observe bizarre and fascinating aquatic relationships and learn about underwater navigation. This course is one of the most rewarding in the PADI system! Includes use of all scuba gear, 5 dives (3 shore & 2 boat dives), all air fills, all instruction, training manual and slate, certification card & wall certificate
This is an important and critical step in diver-training: you will learn how to take care of yourself - self-rescue skills are highly under-estimated and extremely valuable. You will also learn how to lend valuable assistance to others in a variety of emergency situations, and to develop your initiative - work on prevention rather than cure! When you utilise your skills in an emergency, you realise just how incredibly valuable Rescue Diver training is!

Many divers have a certain eerie fascination with shipwrecks, plane wrecks and other such underwater phenomena. Little comes close to the feeling of descending into the depths to find a shipwreck, shrouded in history of the days gone by, looming toward you out of the gloom. The Wreck Diver Specialty certification enables you to explore wrecks worldwide without the limitations of a lack of knowledge and proper safety procedures. The Wreck Diver course increases your awareness of special wreck diving techniques such as wreck penetration using lines and reels, and anti-silting techniques. The course also develops your ability to make sound judgement decisions regarding your safety in areas with potential for silt-outs, restricted passageways, unstable aging structures, eliminated access to the surface whilst inside the wreck, and special rules regarding air supply and specialised safety equipment required specifically for penetration wreck diving. The Wreck Diver Specialty course is extremely rewarding and holds a high level of excitement and adventure unique to this style of recreational diving. This is a fabulous fun course!!

If your fancy Bio-fins just don't get you around fast enough down there, or perhaps you like the idea of speed, the D.P.V. Specialty course sounds like your kind of stuff! One lecture in the classroom and two dives (one day) of the best fun you'll ever have at the coast will satisfy your thirst for speed. Spiral ascents and descents, sloping ascents and descents, parking, doubling, banked turns, pivot turns, barrel rolls, loop-de-loops, swimming like a dolphin (and also almost as fast as one!!!) gives you an idea of some of the fantastic fabulous fun that we have on the scooters underwater at the coast.
Experience the warmth and comfort of drysuit diving: a night in the classroom, a fun pool session and two dives (one day) at the coast will provide you with all the training you need to stay dry while you dive. The course covers drysuit diving techniques, different styles of suits, maintenance and care. This course will teach you how to dive safely using a drysuit. Skills learned on this course are unique to drysuit diving, and following successfuly completion of the course you will be able to dive confidently using a specialised piece of scuba equipment - a drysuit.
So you want to know how to maintain your diving equipment so that it will last longer. Let us teach you all the simple little tricks that will save you time, inconvenience and money when you're supposed to be out there enjoying yourself. Avoid the frustration of not knowing what to do. Over a weekend or three evenings let us help you to develop your practical knowledge of the theory, principles and operation of diving equipment. Our experienced service technician will show you how to make repairs out in the field that will enable you to continue your diving without the need to cut a dive short due to an issue with your equipment. After all, scuba gear is life support equipment. This course will help you to extend the life of your scuba equipment significantly by teaching you the proper care and maintenance procedures.

The PADI Emergency First Response program can show you how to respond in event of an emergency. This program can be taken by both divers and non-divers so family members can accompany you in training making it much more fun! This course is workplace accredited.
On this course you will find out why some of our instructors are fish maniacs! Knowing what you are looking at is the main reason that we dive and it is so much more enjoyable when you know what your as looking at! This course will give you the information to identify characteristics of local fish families and species. You will also be taught survey techniques and strategies and about ways that you can help to protect the aquatic life.
If you are tired of getting lost underwater or fed up with long surface swims, this is the course for you! If you are determined to improve those navigational skills, this course teaches you lots - even how to plot your more complex underwater courses on a scuba sextant, which in turn enables you to make a direct bee-line for home at the end of the dive. Increase your natural navigation skills as well as your compass navigation, and rest assured that such skills have many practical uses for search patterns, underwater mapping, specific site re-location, etc.
Are you curious about diving in zero visibility? Do you have a fascination for the idea of 'working' underwater? Or perhaps finding lost objects? The Search and Recovery course is unique in that it specialises in introducing you to a wide variety of underwater search patterns, working with lift bags underwater, knot tying, and planning and executing an effective underwater search with a whole dive team which is a lot more difficult that it sounds. A fascinating course, it also enables you to substantially increase your diving skills and communication techniques through working in limited visibility with the assistance of a team and the development of a full dive plan.

There is so much to learn about boats and there are so many different makes and models, but they all do have things in common like the requirement to carry safety equipment such as oxygen to treat a diver in the unlikely event that something should happen. This course, with three boat dives, provides the perfect introduction to boat diving and broadens your horizons with regard to safety, operation and techniques.
