Our dive boat, Ocean Day Out is an 8.5M RIB purposefully set up for your diving comfort. Ocean Day Out is able to take 10 divers and 2 crew so there is plenty of space to travel and dive in comfort.
Ocean Day Out is a large boat but still trailerable which means that we are not tied to any single location. Our range of operation is all the way from Eden up to Terrigal. This means that we can dive the wrecks of the Tugs (Henry Bolte & Tasman Hauler) out of Eden and the wreck of the HMAS Adelaide in Terrigal, and everything in between. There are plenty of locations to visit - the amazing dive sites at Jervis Bay, Ulladulla, Brush Island, Bateman's Bay, Montague Island - just to name a few of the sites we can explore.
During the surface interval of our double boat dives coffee, tea and snacks will be served, giving you the opportunity to share your diving stories over a warm cuppa.
For safety reasons, when diving from the boat you will need to have a safety sausage or surface marker buoy (SMB). If you don't have one, you can purchase one from the shop prior to the dive trip. Also, for dives greater than 18 meters you will need to be Advanced certified to join us on these dives.
