Couldn’t have experienced a more fun way to celebrate and welcome in the New Year!! Happy New Year to all our divers, their families and friends!! It is a tradition to welcome in the new year in Fiji by getting saturated and we complied!! We had an absolute blast on Beqa Island!

What an absolutely fantastic trip to Fiji!! Tiger sharks and tropical reefs, water temp between 29-31 degrees, and a really great, super-fun group of people! We couldn’t have hand-picked a better group! Thanks to our amazing divers for having so much fun with us on Beqa! Thanks to the wonderful resort team and dive staff of Beqa Lagoon Resort for taking such amazing care of us all and for making New Year celebrations an experience we will NEVER forget!! The Fiji connection with Lady of the Sea Diving Academy. A brief history of Fiji's scuba diving pioneers, David and Lorraine Evans. Scuba Diving in Fiji was made possible through the establishment of Fiji's first diving operation - Scubahire Ltd, followed by Beqa Divers Fiji. It is because of David and Lorraine that diving at the legendary Beqa Lagoon was introduced to divers from all over the world.

Why become a PADI Scuba Instructor? A great scuba instructor is a great diver, having pursued a high level of skill development as well as many other attributes along the way. But there is a lot more to a great scuba instructor than just being a really good diver!
