Welcome to one of the world's true bucket-list dive destinations – Palau, Micronesia! Nestled in the western Pacific, Palau is world-renowned for its extraordinary marine biodiversity and abundance of large pelagic life. Join Lady of the Sea Diving Academy on a special group departure to explore current-swept plateaus, sheltered coral gardens, and some of the most celebrated dive sites on the planet.
World-Class Diving for Every Level
Palau offers an incredible range of diving to suit every level of interest and skill. Drift along the walls, plateaus and coral gardens of the outer reef with the sharks of Blue Corner, encounter manta rays cruising through Devilfish City and German Channel, and explore the fast-paced drift dives of Ulong Channel, the Rock Islands and Ngerchu. Many of the channels have strong currents, so reef hooks are an essential piece of kit – but with dive guides on hand, Palau is suitable for divers of all experience levels.
For wreck divers, Palau is home to one of Micronesia's most extensive collections of WWII shipwrecks, adding a fascinating layer of history beneath the waves.
Beyond the Dive Sites
Based in Koror, Palau's biggest urban centre and commercial hub, you'll be within easy reach of some of the country's most spectacular sights. Take a trip to the famous Jellyfish Lake, learn about local heritage and culture at a museum or traditional bai, visit an ancient monolith, or explore one of the remaining WWII relics.
Note: It is now mandatory in Palau for all divers to carry a Surface Marker Buoy (safety sausage).
